Wild Red Stags – Rutting Season

Red stags (Cervus elaphus) during rutting season, defending territory in the park lands. Antlers locked the dominant stag having waded into the stream to defend his territory, in this case having the high ground was of no advantage in the raw intensity of autumn wildlife battles.
