The Roar Red Stag – Rutting Season

Red stags (Cervus elaphus) during rutting season, defending territory in the park lands. The dominant stag having waded into the stream to defend his territory, roars out a victory and warning message, having seeing off his challenger. In the raw intensity of autumn wildlife battles, there are those who triumph and those who live to fight another day.
