Fire And Ice

This is one of a series (Fire And Ice.) of pictures taken after we experienced a late autumn. The trees were still regaled in their autumn colours, when they were subjected to the unexpected downpour of snow.

This scene captures a tree that looks like it's had a dusting of gold leaf applied, while the surrounding vegetation and the trees covered by the snow.
